Reseña:	On April 20-22, 2001, the 34 democratically elected heads of State and Government from the Americas met in historic Quebec City for the Third Summit of the Americas. This Summit culminates a three-year preparatory process that has included the participation of member States, International Organizations, Financial Institutions and Civil Society Organizations.
