This article provides a description of the new Code’s dispositions on witness testimony during oral trial. These regulations represent a notable change for forensic practice in this country and possibly throughout Latin America because the interrogation technique adopted by the legislator moves away from continental legal culture. Under the new rules, evocative questions are admitted during cross-examination. |
