dc.description.abstract The dual criticism that has revolved around mediation has given rise to different types of regulation needs and demands for more specific regulation: co-operation and division of labour between mediation schemesand the criminal justice system should be specified, the position ofmediation should be strengthened by creating a code of practice, andmediation activities in general should be given a greater autonomy byimproving legislation.
