The Shape of Things to Come: A Framework for Thinking about A Restorative Justice System

Abstract

For more than 10 years researchers have speculated on how a restorative justice system might be configured. But with the growing activity by governmentsin incorporating restorative principles, this work has a new immediacy. What arethe components of a restorative justice system? How might we assess therestorative character of a system that incorporates restorative as well as othervalues? These are questions the author will explore in this document.
