dc.description.abstractThis report was prepared by the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA) at the request of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) through the resolution called “Prevention of Racism and All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance and Consideration of the Preparation of a Draft Inter-American Convention.” The report discusses the way in which the judicial systems of several countries in Continental America address racist practices in general, and those that affect people of African descent in particular.
