2007Global Report on Corruption

Abstract

This Transparency International (TI) publication brings together academics, jurists and civil society from around the world to examine why, how and at what stage corruption can damage judicial processes. It also addresses approaches to remedying corrupt systems. The 2007 report is focused on judges and courts, which it situates within a broader justice system, exploring the impact of judicial corruption on human rights, economic development and governance.
