Model Code of Judicial Conduct

Abstract

The Code is designed to provide guidance to judges and candidates for judicial office and to providea structure for regulating conduct through disciplinary agencies. It is not designed or intended as abasis for civil liability or criminal prosecution. The Model Code of Judicial Conduct (August 1990) was adopted by the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association on August 7, 1990.
