The many meanings of mediation: A sociological study of mediation in Canada: Mediation styles

Abstract

In this document attention is turned from how individuals conceptualize their role as a mediator to how they describe their style of mediation. Once again, of interest were how understandings of style might vary and how they were linked to contextual factors. Divergence in meaning with commonlyused terms was also under examination.
