Justice Reform in Mexico: Change and Challenges in the Judicial Sector

Abstract

This paper helps to fill the gap in our current understanding of the problems with justice reform in Mexico by explaining Mexico’s justice sector challenges, the specific changes proposed under the 2008 reform package, and the challenges that lie in store for Mexico as it implements judicial sector reforms over the next decade.
