Environmental and Climate Change in Latin America and the Caribbean

Abstract

Document aims to summarize the key regional and subregional environmental and climate change problems and opportunities for Latin America and the Caribbean, related to poverty reduction, economic development, and integration focusing mostly on the sub-regions: the Amazon, Andean ridge, Central America, and the Caribbean. Attention will be given to transboundary water resources, management, climate change, and land-use change.
