dc.description.abstract In November 1998, the Due Process of Law Foundation convened a conference inWashington, D. C. on “Criminal Justice Reforms in the Americas.” The conference was organized in cooperation with the Inter-American Bar Association and was made possible by a grant from the United States Agency for International Development. The Conference was hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank and assistance was also provided by the World Bank. This report summarizes the papers presented at the conference and the conference proceedings.
