This comparative country study reviews and evaluates the organization and financing of the judiciary. The focus is on the judicial budget and its role in providing the means to administer and deliver an effective system of justice. First, the study defines what the judicial budget covers and explains the relationship between the judicial budget and a country’s national budget system. Second, there is an explanation of the organization, management, and oversight of judicial budgets. |
