dc.description.abstract Utah judges are required to comply with ethical standards found in Utah’s Code of Judicial Conduct. The purpose of this article is to summarize Utah’s Code of Judicial Conduct and provide annotations of interpretive caselaw from the Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court ofAppeals. This article will examine the role of the judiciary, impropriety,impartiality, extra-judicial activity, political activity, and the applicabilityof Utah’s Code of Judicial Conduct.
