dc.description.abstract In the present text, the Justice Studies Center of the Americas, JSCA, seeks to provide an introduction to the criminal justice system of the Eastern Caribbean (EC) in order to identify areas for sharing the experience gained from the reforms that are taking place throughout Latin America. The document focuses on identifying practices rather than describing legal systems or engaging in juridical discourse. The primary focus of this report is the adversarial nature of EC justice systems in theory and practice, the organization of work in the different institutions involved, and the ways in which this work is managed.
